Full Journal pdf2024-05-15 House Journal Page 3317 HB 148 A message dated May 15 was read stating the Senate passed: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 148(FIN) "An Act relating to the Alaska performance scholarship program." 2024-05-15 House Journal Page 3318 with the following amendment, and it is transmitted for consideration: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 148(FIN) am S "An Act relating to the head start program; relating to the Alaska performance scholarship program; relating to the insurance tax education credit, the income tax education credit, the oil or gas producer education credit, the property tax education credit, the mining business education credit, the fisheries business education credit, and the fisheries resource landing tax education credit; relating to allocations of funding for the Alaska Workforce Investment Board; relating to grants for technical and vocational education; providing for an effective date by amending the effective date of secs. 1, 2, and 21, ch. 61, SLA 2014; and providing for an effective date." (SCR 32 - title change resolution) HB 148 Representative Saddler moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Tomaszewski moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objection was heard, and he was required to vote. Representative Saddler moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment and recommended that the members vote yes. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment?" Representative Saddler moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The Chief Clerk notified the Senate. The bill was referred to the Chief Clerk for enrollment.
