President Micciche made the following appointments: Governor's Council on Human and Sex Trafficking Senator Kiehl, ex officio member Senator Wilson moved and asked unanimous consent to be excused from a call of the Senate from afternoon plane time, March 18 through evening plane time, March 20 and from afternoon plane time March 23 through morning plane time March 25. Without objection, Senator Wilson was excused. SB 146 Senators Begich, Stevens, Hughes, Micciche moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cosponsors on SENATE BILL NO. 146 "An Act relating to costs of and charges for textbooks and other course materials required for University of Alaska courses; and providing for an effective date." Without objection, it was so ordered. Announcements SB 129 Senator Shower, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent Uniform Rule 23 be waived on SENATE BILL NO. 129 "An Act relating to information on judicial officers provided in election pamphlets" for the State Affairs Committee meeting on March 17. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objection, it was so ordered. Announcements are at the end of the journal.
