SB 20                                                                                                                         
SENATE BILL NO. 20 "An Act relating to recognition of certificates                                                              
of out-of-state teachers" was read the second time.                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
Senator Bishop, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                              
adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 790.                                                               
Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no                                                            
further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 20(FIN) "An Act                                                                       
relating to teaching certificates for teachers holding out-of-state                                                             
certificates" was adopted.                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
President Micciche stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 20(FIN) will                                                                   
advance to third reading on the May 3 calendar.                                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
SB 47                                                                                                                         
SENATE BILL NO. 47 "An Act relating to special registration plates                                                              
for vehicles owned by persons with disabilities" was read the second                                                            
time.                                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent the bill be                                                                    
considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final                                                             
passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.                                                                                  
                                                                                                                                
SENATE BILL NO. 47 was read the third time.                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
The question being: "Shall SENATE BILL NO. 47 "An Act relating to                                                               
special registration plates for vehicles owned by persons with                                                                  
disabilities" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following
