Senator Wielechowski moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw Amendment No. 21, which had been moved to the bottom of amendments offered today. Without objection, Amendment No. 21 was withdrawn. Senator Wielechowski offered Updated Amendment No. 21: Page 1, line 12: Delete the second occurrence of "and" Page 2, line 1, following "funding;": Insert "and corporate grants;" Page 14, following line 10: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 17. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to read: CORPORATE GRANTS. Unless required by federal law, the state, a state agency, or a political subdivision of the state, as part of the state's response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, shall prioritize grants, low-interest or no-interest loans, or other fiscal relief to corporations with 90 percent or more of employees who are residents of the state."
