Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative McKay: Page 1 (title amendment): Delete all instances of "Vic Fischer and Jack Coghill Constitution of the State of Alaska Day" Insert "Delegates to the 1955-1956 Alaska Constitutional Convention Day" Page 1, line 7, following "honor": Delete "Jack Coghill, Vic Fischer, and the other" Insert "the" Representative McKay moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Hopkins objected. 2021-05-14 House Journal Page 1085 Representative Edgmon rose to a point of order regarding interpretation of comments. The Speaker cautioned the member to confine remarks to the amendment. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The Speaker stated that, without objection, HCS CSSB 28(STA) would be held in second reading to tomorrow's calendar.
