    Lord, you have given each of us in this building great                                                                      
    responsibility to fulfill the promises that we have made to all                                                             
    Alaskans. I again will continue to ask that you protect those                                                               
    who protect us and give comfort to those families who have                                                                  
    lost loved ones standing for that cause.                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
    Protect our doctors, our nurses, and those who have chosen to                                                               
    take so much of their lives to save those they have yet to                                                                  
    meet.                                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
    Lord, I ask that you protect our families who sacrifice so                                                                  
    much while we are here doing the work for the people of                                                                     
    Alaska.                                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
    Lord, as we begin to wind down our work here in Juneau, I                                                                   
    especially want to thank you for the many friends I have made                                                               
    along the way. I ask that you be with each one of us, as we                                                                 
    travel around the state.                                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
    And finally, as we enter and celebrate Easter weekend, I want                                                               
    to thank you for your son who sacrificed his life and then rose                                                             
    again so that we would live eternally. In Jesus' Holy name I
