There being no further objection, CSHB 298(CRA) was adopted. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Vance, Rauscher, Snyder, and Tarr: Page 5, line 30: Delete "as soon as a majority of its membership has been selected" Insert "on the earlier of (1) December 1, 2022; or (2) the date a majority of its membership has been selected" Representative Vance moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Eastman: Page 2, lines 6 - 12: Delete all material and insert: "(A) one member from the minority caucus of the senate, appointed by the minority leader of the senate; 2022-04-13 House Journal Page 2512 (B) one member from the minority caucus of the house of representatives, appointed by the minority leader of the house of representatives; (C) one member from the senate, appointed by the president of the senate; (D) one member from the house of representatives, appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives."
