2022-04-26 House Journal Page 2663 HB 291 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the April 25 calendar (page 2634), was read the third time: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 291(STA) "An Act relating to the Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault; extending the termination date of the Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault; and providing for an effective date." The question being: "Shall CSHB 291(STA) pass the House?" Representative Tuck moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 291(STA) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment. The Speaker stated that, without objection, the House would recess to 3:00 p.m.; and so, the House recessed at 12:54 p.m.
