Senator Hughes moved and asked unanimous consent the vote on reconsideration be considered the vote on the effective date clause(s). Without objection, it was so ordered and the bill was referred to the Secretary for engrossment. HB 109 HOUSE BILL NO. 109 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Governors of the Alaska Bar Association; and providing for an effective date" was read the second time. Senator Holland, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Judiciary Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 1062. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objection, SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 109(JUD) was adopted. Senator Wielechowski moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest. Objections were heard and Senator Wielechowski was required to vote. Senator Kiehl offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 1, line 6: Delete "2026" Insert "2029" Senator Kiehl moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Reinbold objected.
