Full Journal pdf2018-04-06 Senate Journal Page 2509 SB 112 The Labor and Commerce Committee considered SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL NO. 112 "An Act relating to the controlled substance prescription database; relating to employer- required drug testing; relating to the office of administrative hearings; relating to the Alaska Workers' Compensation Board; relating to the payment of workers' compensation or benefits; relating to compensable injuries; relating to rehabilitation and reemployment of injured workers; relating to reemployment vouchers; relating to the treatment or care of employees; relating to use of evidence-based treatment guidelines; relating to prescribing or dispensing a controlled substance to an employee for a compensable injury; relating to workers' compensation prehearings; relating to the filing of claims for workers' compensation benefits or petitions for other relief; relating to the burden of proof and credibility of witnesses in workers' compensation matters; relating to attorney fees; relating to the filing of a verified annual report; relating to permanent total disability; relating to temporary total disability; excluding independent contractors from workers' compensation coverage; and providing for an effective date" and recommended it be replaced with CS FOR SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL NO. 112(L&C) "An Act relating to workers' compensation; relating to attorney fees for workers' compensation claims; excluding independent contractors from workers' compensation coverage; and establishing a workers' compensation working group in the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development."
