Under the authority of Article II, Section 9, and Article III, Section 17,                                                      
Constitution of the State of Alaska, and in the public interest, I am                                                           
supplementing my proclamation of June 16, 2017, calling the Thirtieth                                                           
Legislature of the State of Alaska into its second special session at                                                           
Juneau, Alaska, on June 16, 2017, with the addition of the following                                                            
bill:                                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
      SCS CSHB 159(FIN) - prescription of opioids, the controlled                                                               
      substance prescription database, and the Voluntary Nonopioid                                                              
      Directive Act.
