Amendment No. 67 was offered by Representatives Eastman, Wilson, Pruitt, Tilton, Chenault, Talerico, Sullivan-Leonard, Thompson, Birch, Rauscher, and Millett: Page 16, following line 25: Insert new material to read: "It is the intent of the legislature that the Department of Health and Social Services provide adequate safeguards to ensure that state funds appropriated for travel to medical appointments are expended for that purpose." Representative Eastman moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 67 be adopted. There was objection. Representative Tuck rose to a point of order, citing Sections 159.5 and 401.4 of Mason's Manual. The Speaker ruled Amendment No. 67 out of order. Representative Eastman appealed the ruling of the Chair.
