Page 53, following line 6:                                                                                                      
         Insert a new subsection to read:                                                                                       
     "(c)  It is the intent of the legislature to honor the will of the                                                         
people of the state, who, in 2006, voted to amend AS 24.05.150 to                                                               
limit the legislative session to 90 days to realize savings to the state                                                        
budget by the legislature, by adjourning sine die before midnight on                                                            
the 90th day of the Second Regular Session of the Thirtieth Alaska                                                              
State Legislature."                                                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
Representative Rauscher moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                  
Amendment No. 41 be adopted.

Representative LeDoux rose to a point of order, citing Article II,                                                              
Section 13 of the Alaska Constitution.
