Amendment No. 14 was offered by Representatives Reinbold, Sullivan-Leonard, Chenault, Thompson, Saddler, and Eastman: Page 16, following line 15: Insert new material to read: "It is the intent of the legislature that a strict travel policy be adopted so that, if a patient travels using public funds for medical treatment and fails to attend a scheduled visit, the patient will be required to reimburse the state within 72 hours after the start of travel." Representative Reinbold moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 14 be adopted. There was objection. The Speaker stated that, without objection, Amendment No. 14 would be moved to the bottom of the amendments. Amendment No. 15 was offered by Representative Reinbold: Page 53, following line 6: Insert a new subsection to read: "(c) It is the intent of the legislature that all state employees minimize state travel and strictly follow the state travel policy, that state travel be limited to mandatory travel with a supervisor's authorization and be as economic as possible, and that mileage earned on travel using state funds be credited to the state in a general account and used for the benefit of the state, including Medicaid travel and state employee travel." Representative Reinbold moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 15 be adopted. Representative Seaton objected.
