MacKinnon, Co-chairs, Victims' Advocate Selection Committee, was

The Victim's Advocate Selection Committee conducted a 30-day                                                                    
recruitment for the Victims' Advocate which resulted in a very limited                                                          
pool of applicants who meet the statutory qualifications.                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
At this time, the committee respectfully requests permission to                                                                 
conduct another, longer recruitment period later this year and to                                                               
forward a nominee to be confirmed during the second session of the
