Representative Munoz moved and asked unanimous consent that HB 180 be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Munoz: Page 1, line 1, following "Day" (title amendment): Insert "; and providing for an effective date" Page 1, following line 7: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c)." Representative Munoz moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Objection was heard and withdrawn. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted, and the new title follows: HOUSE BILL NO. 180(efd add) "An Act establishing the second Sunday of June each year as Children's Day; and providing for an effective date."
