CS FOR SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 16(STA)                                                                                 
Urging the Governor to designate a location for a special session of the                                                        
Twenty-Ninth Alaska State Legislature, if called after adjournment of                                                           
the Second Regular Session of the Twenty-Ninth Alaska State                                                                     
Legislature, that is in a community on the state's road system, which                                                           
had been held to the March 30 calendar (page 2244), was before the                                                              
Senate in second reading.                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
Senator Egan offered Amendment No. 1 :                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Page 2, line 5, following "days":                                                                                               
 Insert ", provided that the Legislative Affairs Agency, after                                                                  
considering all eligible costs, but not including travel for legislators'                                                       
personal staff, certifies the location will be less expensive than a                                                            
session of the same length held in the capital city"                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
Senator Egan moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator                                                                 
Stoltze objected.
