Full Journal pdf2013-03-19 Senate Journal Page 0630 SJR 2 Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent to take up the concur message on HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 2(JUD) Commending and supporting actions taken by the Office of the Governor, the attorney general, and the commissioner of natural resources to protect the state from federal government incursion into the care and management of state resources and to promote the economic prosperity of the state; and urging the United States Congress and the President of the United States to limit federal government overreach into management of state resources, which had been held on the Secretary's desk (page 575). Without objection, it was so ordered. Senator Coghill moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSJR 2(JUD) Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to CSSJR 2(JUD)? YEAS: 19 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bishop, Coghill, Dunleavy, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, Fairclough, French, Gardner, Giessel, Huggins, Kelly, McGuire, Meyer, Micciche, Olson, Stedman, Stevens, Wielechowski Excused: Hoffman 2013-03-19 Senate Journal Page 0631 and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 2(JUD) Commending and supporting actions taken by the Office of the Governor, the attorney general, and the commissioner of natural resources to protect the state from federal government incursion into the care and management of state resources and to promote the economic prosperity of the state; and urging the United States Congress and the President of the United States to limit federal government overreach into management of state resources. The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
