The question being: "Shall CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 268(FIN) "An Act relating to big bull moose derbies and the Snow Town Ice Classic; and relating to permits for games of chance and contests of skill" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 268(FIN) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 20 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bishop, Coghill, Dunleavy, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, Fairclough, French, Gardner, Giessel, Hoffman, Huggins, Kelly, McGuire, Meyer, Micciche, Olson, Stedman, Stevens, Wielechowski and so, CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 268(FIN) passed the Senate, was signed by the President and Secretary and returned to the House. HB 282 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 282(JUD) "An Act relating to the rights and obligations of residential landlords and tenants; and relating to the taking of a permanent fund dividend for rent and damages owed to a residential landlord" was read the second time. Senators Gardner, Stedman, Hoffman, French, Micciche, Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting due to a conflict of interest. Objections were heard and Senators Gardner, Stedman, Hoffman, French, Micciche, Meyer were required to vote. Senator Gardner offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 8, lines 19 through 21: Delete all Senator Gardner moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Giessel objected.
