There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Pruitt, Feige, and Kreiss-Tomkins: Page 1, line 5 (title amendment): Delete "and" Page 1, line 8, following "Niblack project" (title amendment): Insert "; and relating to legislative approval for a loan from the power project fund for the Blue Lake hydroelectric project" Page 4, following line 4: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 7. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to read: LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL OF LOAN FROM THE POWER PROJECT FUND. If the Alaska Energy Authority approves a loan to the City and Borough of Sitka for the Blue Lake hydroelectric project, the legislature authorizes the Alaska Energy Authority to loan an amount not to exceed $18,600,000 from the power project fund (AS 42.45.010) to the City and Borough of Sitka for the Blue Lake hydroelectric project. This section constitutes legislative approval under AS 42.45.010(j) for a loan from the fund that exceeds $5,000,000."
