HB 32                                                                                                                         
The Labor & Commerce Committee considered:                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
    HOUSE BILL NO. 32                                                                                                           
    "An Act providing for the issuance of one business license for                                                              
    multiple lines of business; and providing for reissuance of a                                                               
    business license to correct a mistake on the license."                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
and recommends it be replaced with:                                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 32(L&C)                                                                                               
    "An Act providing for the issuance of one business license for                                                              
    multiple trades, services, professions, or activities; and providing                                                        
    for reissuance of a business license to make a change on the                                                                
    license."

(L&C), signed by Representative Reinbold, Vice Chair, follows:                                                                
                                                                                                                                
"It is the intent of CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 32(L&C), "An Act                                                                     
providing for the issuance of one business license for multiple trades,                                                         
services, professions, or activities; and providing for reissuance of a

business license to make a change on the license", that changes                                                                 
permitted under Section 3 of HB 32 would include the following types                                                            
of changes that are not and could not be considered substantive                                                                 
changes to a license:                                                                                                           
    · Change of address                                                                                                         
    · Information erroneously placed in wrong part of a license                                                                 
         application by the applicant                                                                                           
    · Error in entry by applicant including spelling error,                                                                     
       identification of trade, service, profession or activity                                                                
                                                                                                                                
Types of changes that would be a substantive change in license or a                                                             
change in business and not qualify for the change offered in Section 3                                                          
include:                                                                                                                        
    · Change in the name of the business                                                                                        
    · Change in the name or names of the business owner"
