Full Journal pdf2014-04-03 House Journal Page 2163 HB 152 The Labor & Commerce Committee considered: HOUSE BILL NO. 152 "An Act requiring certain employers who terminate participation in the defined benefit retirement plan or the defined contribution retirement plan of the Public Employees' Retirement System to make contributions related to past service liability and pay termination costs; repealing a requirement that employers who terminate participation in the defined contribution retirement plan or the defined benefit retirement plan of the Public Employees' Retirement System pay for a termination cost study; and providing for an effective date." 2014-04-03 House Journal Page 2164 and recommends it be replaced with: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 152(L&C) "An Act eliminating requirements that certain employers who terminate participation in the defined benefit retirement plan of the public employees' retirement system pay termination costs and the cost of a termination cost study in order to become eligible for future participation in the public employees' retirement system; repealing requirements that employers who terminate participation in the defined contribution retirement plan or the defined benefit retirement plan of the public employees' retirement system pay termination costs and pay for a termination cost study; and providing for an effective date."
