Full Journal pdf2011-03-28 Senate Journal Page 0630 SJR 2 The Resources Committee considered SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 2 Commending and supporting the aggressive actions of the governor to protect the state from federal government incursion into the care and management of state resources and to promote the economic prosperity of the state; and urging the United States Congress and the President of the United States to limit the exercise of federal powers to those enumerated in the United States Constitution and to trust and empower states to manage their own affairs, and recommended it be replaced with CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 2(RES) Commending and supporting actions taken by the Office of the Governor and the attorney general to protect the state from federal government incursion into the care and management of state resources and to promote the economic prosperity of the state; and urging the United States Congress and the President of the United States to limit federal government overreach into management of state resources.
