The Labor and Commerce Committee considered SENATE BILL                                                                         
NO. 174 "An Act requiring certain employers in the oil or gas                                                                   
production industries to report certain job opportunities to the                                                                
Department of Labor and Workforce Development as public                                                                         
information and requiring that information to be posted on the Alaska                                                           
Online Public Notice System; and adding to the duties of the Alaska                                                             
Workforce Investment Board" and recommended it be replaced with                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 174(L&C) "An Act                                                                               
          requiring certain employers in the oil or gas                                                                         
          production industries to report certain job                                                                           
          opportunities to the Department of Labor and                                                                          
          Workforce Development as public information and                                                                       
          requiring that information to be posted on the                                                                        
          Internet-based labor exchange system administered                                                                     
          by the Department of Labor and Workforce                                                                              
          Development; and adding to the duties of the Alaska
