Full Journal pdf2010-04-18 Senate Journal Page 2467 SJR 21 Message dated April 18 was read stating the House passed and returned for consideration SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 21 Proposing amendments to the Constitution of the State of Alaska relating to and increasing the number of members of the house of representatives to forty-eight and the number of members of the senate to twenty-four, with the following amendment: SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 21 am H Proposing amendments to the Constitution of the State of Alaska relating to and increasing the number of members of the house of representatives to forty- four and the number of members of the senate to twenty-two. (Title change HCR 35) Senator Ellis moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: SJR 21 am H Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to SJR 21? YEAS: 16 NAYS: 4 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Coghill, Davis, Egan, Ellis, French, Hoffman, Kookesh, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stedman, Stevens, Thomas, Wielechowski Nays: Bunde, Dyson, Huggins, Wagoner and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 21 am H Proposing amendments to the Constitution of the State of Alaska relating to and increasing the number of members of the house of representatives to forty-four and the number of members of the senate to twenty-two. The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The resolution was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
