The Senate Special Committee on Energy considered SENATE BILL                                                                   
NO. 31 "An Act relating to a geothermal electricity production tax                                                              
credit under the Alaska Net Income Tax Act" and recommended it be                                                               
replaced with                                                                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 31(ENE) "An Act                                                                                
          relating to an alternative energy production tax credit                                                               
          that may be claimed or applied against tax due under                                                                  
          the Alaska Net Income Tax Act; and providing for an
