Full Journal pdf2010-04-06 Senate Journal Page 2147 The question being: "Shall SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 18 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, concerning House Bill No. 101, exempting the full value of life insurance and annuity contracts from levy to satisfy a debt, and amending the description of earnings, income, cash, and other assets relating to garnishment of life insurance proceeds payable upon the death of an insured, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCR 18 Final Passage YEAS: 19 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bunde, Coghill, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, French, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stedman, Stevens, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski Excused: Davis and, so SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 18 passed the Senate and was referred to the Secretary for engrossment. HB 360 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 360(EDC) "An Act relating to the provision of information regarding a student by a school district to the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs, Alaska Challenge Youth Academy" was read the second time. Senator Meyer, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Education Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 2115. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 360(EDC) was adopted. Senator Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 360(EDC) was read the third time.
