The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendments?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 81(FIN) am S Shall the Senate Recede from its Amendments to CSHB 81(FIN)am(brf sup maj fld)? YEAS: 0 NAYS: 19 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 VACANT: 1 Nays: Bunde, Davis, Dyson, Ellis, French, Hoffman, Huggins, Kookesh, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stedman, Stevens, Therriault, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski and so, the Senate failed to recede. The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Hoffman, Chair Senator Stedman Senator Thomas The Secretary was requested to notify the House. HB 83 Senator Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent to take up the following message dated April 6 which had been held on the Secretary's desk (page 809). Without objection, it was so ordered. Recede message stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment to CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 83(FIN) and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendment, namely:
