I respectfully request that the entire Alaska Senate consider my                                                                
nomination of Mr. Grussendorf in open session, in the same fashion as                                                           
the legislature would consider any other appointment subject to                                                                 
confirmation. The people of Alaska and Juneau are entitled to a public
