There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Fairclough and Chenault: Page 5, following line 13: Insert a new subsection to read: "(g) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a state agency acquiring an interest in land by eminent domain may grant a permit authorizing a private person to construct, manage, and operate a gas pipeline over, under, along, across, or upon the land." Reletter the following subsections accordingly. Representative Fairclough moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Gruenberg objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Representative Johansen moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 369(FIN) am be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage.
