     and the pursuit of wisdom.  And grant to all who teach and all                                 
     who learn respect for one another and joy in their work                                        
     together.                                                                                      
                                                                                                    
     I ask a blessing also today upon this house here gathered that                                 
     as they take counsel for the renewal and mission of our state                                  
     they may not only perceive what is right, but have also the                                    
     courage, with grace, to pursue it.                                                             
                                                                                                    
     And now, I give thanks and ask a blessing upon each of the                                     
     families of these legislators who have given them as a gift to                                 
     us that they might serve and all our people prosper.  May this                                 
     separation not create undue hardship or loneliness, and may                                    
     all be reunited with joy at the session's end.  Amen.
