Full Journal pdf2006-05-08 House Journal Page 3872 RECONSIDERATION SB 271 Representative Gardner brought up reconsideration of the vote on SB 271 (page 3741). The following was again before the House in third reading: SENATE BILL NO. 271 "An Act authorizing the commissioner of transportation and public facilities to participate in certain federal highway programs and relating to that authorization; relating to powers of the attorney general to waive immunity from suit in federal court related to those programs; and providing for an effective date." Representative Gardner moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 271 be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 2. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Gardner: Page 2, following line 25: Insert a new subsection to read: "(d) The department shall make a report to the legislature regarding its participation in the federal programs described in this section within the first 30 days of the legislative session in 2011." Representative Gardner moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. Representative Ramras objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 2 be adopted?"
