Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Croft: Page 151, following line 23: Insert a new subsection to read: "(e) The division of parks and outdoor recreation is directed to make reasonable effort to use Alaskan certified wood products for the construction of capital budget appropriated recreation enhancement projects." (a) The unexpended and unobligated balance, not to exceed $3,000,000, of the appropriation made in sec. 58(c), ch. 3, SLA 2005 (Denali Borough, Stampede Road improvements - $5,000,000) is reappropriated to the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development for payment as a grant under AS 37.05.315 to the Denali Borough for construction of the Cantwell bike path. (b) The unexpended and unobligated balance, not to exceed $1,500,000, of the appropriation made in sec. 58(c), ch. 3, SLA 2005 (Denali Borough, Stampede Road improvements - $5,000,000) is reappropriated to the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development for payment as a grant under AS 37.05.315 to the Fairbanks North Star Borough for the Ester Volunteer Fire Department Parks Highway fire station addition.
