Full Journal pdf2005-04-15 House Journal Page 1080 SB 52 The following was read the second time: CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 52(L&C) "An Act relating to certain functions of the division of banking, securities, and corporations and the division of occupational licensing in the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development; relating to program receipts and record search fees of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development related to banking, securities, and corporations; and providing for an effective date." with the: Journal Page EDT RPT 3DP 3NR 890 FN1: ZERO (CED) 890 L&C RPT 3DP 2NR 983 FN1: ZERO (CED) 983 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Berkowitz: "CONTINGENT EFFECT: This bill takes effect only if the Twenty-Fourth Alaska State Legislature during its First Regular Session increases the base student allocation under AS 14.17.470 to at least $4,919." 2005-04-15 House Journal Page 1081 Representative Berkowitz moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Rokeberg objected and rose to a point of order stating that the amendment was out of order under Rule 35 of the Uniform Rules. The Speaker stated that he would allow Amendment No. 1 to be considered. Representative Rokeberg moved the previous question. There was objection. The question being: "Shall the question be called?" Representative Foster placed a call of the House. The call was satisfied. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" CSSB 52(L&C) was read the third time. The question being: "Shall CSSB 52(L&C) pass the House?"
