SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS HR 7 Representative Weyhrauch moved and asked unanimous consent that the following be taken up as a Special Order of Business: HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 7 Supporting the efforts of the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to improve transportation to and from Juneau and supporting development of the East Lynn Canal Highway. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Berkowitz placed a call of the House on the resolution. The call was satisfied. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Kerttula: Page 2, line 23, following ";": Insert: "and WHEREAS, even thoughthe last vote on this issue showed that Juneau voters supported improved ferry service instead of a road;" Representative Kerttula moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Weyhrauch objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?"
