There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Stoltze: Page 1, line 5 (title amendment): Delete "and to levy on permanent fund dividends" Page 10, lines 15 - 19: Delete all material. Reletter the following subsection accordingly. Page 11, line 31: Delete "AS 19.75.915(c)" Insert "AS 19.75.915(b)" Page 12, lines 1 - 21: Delete all material. Renumber the following bill section accordingly. Representative Stoltze moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered, and the new title follows: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 471(FIN) am "An Act amending the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority Act and the powers and authority of the authority to finance construction and maintenance of the Knik Arm Bridge, to set and collect tolls, and to carry out its duties, and making conforming 2006-04-03 House Journal Page 2993 changes to statutes relating to issuance, renewal, or reinstatement of driver's licenses; and providing for an effective date." Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Gara: Page 3, line 31: Following "exercise": Insert ", on prior approval of the governor," Page 4, line 2, following "land;": Insert "the authority's exercise of powers under this paragraph may not exceed the permissible exercise of those powers by the state;" Representative Gara moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. Representative Stoltze objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 2 was adopted. Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 471(FIN) am be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There was objection. CSHB 471(FIN) am will advance to third reading on the April 5, 2006, calendar.
