The Labor & Commerce Committee has considered:                                                      
                                                                                                    
    HOUSE BILL NO. 424                                                                              
    "An Act relating to mortgage lenders and persons who engage in                                  
    activities relating to mortgage lending; and providing for an                                   
    effective date."                                                                                
                                                                                                    
and recommends it be replaced with:                                                                 
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 424(L&C)                                                                  
    "An Act relating to mortgage lenders, mortgage brokers, state                                   
    agents who collect program administration fees, and other persons                               
    who engage in activities relating to mortgage lending; and
