The Speaker removed the referral to the Community & Regional                                        
Affairs Committee for the following:                                                                
                                                                                                    
    HOUSE BILL NO. 36                                                                               
    "An Act making an appropriation for the state revenue sharing                                   
    program and the safe communities program at fiscal year 1998                                    
    levels, as adjusted for inflation, to provide for public safety and                             
    other municipal services; and providing for an effective date."
