The Finance Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 284 "An Act                                        
relating to an optional election to prevent the name and address of a                               
permanent fund dividend applicant from being disclosed, except to a                                 
state or federal agency" and recommended it be replaced with                                        
                                                                                                    
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 284(FIN) "An Act                                                   
          making information on a permanent fund dividend                                           
          application, other than the applicant's name,                                             
          confidential, and relating to disclosure of that                                          
          confidential information; and relating to confidential                                    
          information in voter registration records."
