The Transportation Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 260                                         
"An Act relating to metropolitan planning organizations and to                                      
establishment of a metropolitan planning organization for the                                       
Anchorage metropolitan area; and providing for an effective date" and                               
recommended it be replaced with                                                                     
                                                                                                    
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 260(TRA) "An Act                                                   
          relating to metropolitan planning organizations and to                                    
          the policy board of the metropolitan planning                                             
          organization for the Anchorage metropolitan area;                                         
          and providing for an effective date."
