SB 223                                                                                            
The State Affairs Committee has considered:                                                         
                                                                                                    
    SENATE BILL NO. 223                                                                             
    "An Act naming the state ferry first operating to serve between                                 
    Metlakatla and Ketchikan; and providing for an effective date."                                
                                                                                                    
The report was signed by Representative Weyhrauch, Chair, with the

A State Affairs Committee letter of intent for SB 223, signed by

"Through the passage of SB 223, it is the intent of the State Affairs                               
Committee to not have the Alaska Marine Highway system return to                                    
the legislature regarding specific routes for the new state ferry
