     "An Act relating to the award of costs and attorney fees to                                    
     defendants under court rule in civil actions brought under                                     
     monopoly and restraint of trade statutes; and providing for an

Page 1, following line 13:                                                                          
 Insert a new bill section to read:                                                                 
"* Sec. 3.  The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by                               
adding a new section to read:                                                                       
 APPLICABILITY.  This Act does not apply to a civil action                                          
pending in a trial or appellate court of this state on the effective date of                        
this Act."
