Without objection, Senator Lincoln was excused. Consideration of the Calendar Second Reading of Senate Resolutions SJR 9 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 9 Relating to the development and deployment of the National Missile Defense System, was read the second time. Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 9 was read the third time. Senators Donley, Taylor, Wilken, Ward, Austerman moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cosponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 9 Relating to the development and deployment of the National Missile Defense System, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: SJR 9 Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 17 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 3 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Austerman, Cowdery, Davis, Donley, Ellis, Elton, Halford, Hoffman, Kelly, Leman, Olson, Phillips, Taylor, Therriault, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Excused: Green, Lincoln, Pearce and so, SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 9 passed the Senate and was referred to the Secretary for engrossment.
