The Judiciary Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 271 "An                                          
Act establishing the Alaska Marine and Rail Transportation Authority;                               
establishing the marine and rail transportation fund; relating to ferries                           
and ferry terminals; relating to the Alaska Railroad Corporation; and                               
providing for an effective date" and recommended it be replaced with                                
                                                                                                    
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 271(JUD) "An Act                                                   
          establishing the Alaska Marine Highway Authority;                                         
          establishing the marine highway transportation fund;                                      
          relating to ferries and ferry terminals; and providing
