Senator Hoffman offered Amendment No. 12 : Add a new section to read: "*Sec.__. TRANS-ALASKA PIPELINE LIABILITY FUND. The sum available, estimated to be $2,150,000, from the state's rebate share of the federal Trans-Alaska Pipeline Liability Fund and all investment earnings on this sum while in the custody of the state until fully expended are appropriated to the Alaska energy Authority for petroleum remediation at rural Alaska bulk fuel facilities in accordance with federal law (P.L. 101-380, sec. 8102(a)(2)(B)(I)), requiring that the rebate be used for the remediation of above-ground storage tanks." (This section needs to be added to the capital project lapse provision.) Senator Hoffman moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 12. Objections were heard. Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the following amendment to Amendment No. 12: After "remediation at": Delete "rural" Without objection, Amendment No. 12 was amended.
