Signing no recommendation: Senator Pearce, Chair, Senators Ellis, Therriault. Signing do not pass: Senators Phillips, Cowdery. The bill is on today's calendar. Special Committee Reports HB 65 Memo dated May 8 was read, stating: The conference committee on HOUSE BILL NO. 65 has met and requests limited powers of free conference so that an amendment may be adopted. Contingent upon the granting of limited powers of free conference, we agree to the following amendment: Page 1, line 9, following "assistance": Insert "whenever they are eligible for coverage under 42 USC 1396a(a)(10)(A)(ii)(XVIII) if they apply for the assistance before the date that is two years after the effective date of this Act," Page 2, line 30: Delete all material.
