Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Berkowitz: Page 1, line 11 following "in": Insert "lawfully" Representative Berkowitz moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Fate objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 72(RES) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. Representative Berkowitz objected. The Speaker stated that HCS CSSB 72(RES) will advance to third reading on the May 7, 2001, calendar.
