There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Kerttula: Page 3, lines 6 - 8: Delete all material. Reletter the following subsections accordingly. Representative Kerttula moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative James objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 241(RES) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. Representative Kerttula objected. The Speaker stated that CSHB 241(RES) will advance to third reading on the May 4, 2001, calendar.
