Full Journal pdf2001-04-20 House Journal Page 1083 HB 22 The Transportation Committee has considered: SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 22 "An Act relating to certain passenger vessels operating in the marine waters of the state; and providing for an effective date." and recommends it be replaced with: CS FOR SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 22(TRA) "An Act requiring the owners or operators of certain passenger vessels operating in the marine waters of the state to register the vessels; establishing information-gathering, record keeping, and reporting requirements relating to the vessels' graywater and the offloading or release of pollutants from the vessels; prohibiting the discharge of untreated sewage from the vessels; placing limits on discharges of treated sewage and graywater from the vessels; establishing penalties for failure to comply with certain laws relating to the vessels; requiring a report from the Department of Environmental Conservation concerning matters relating to the vessels; and providing for an effective date." 2001-04-20 House Journal Page 1084 The report was signed by Representative Kohring, Chair, with the following individual recommendations: Do pass (3): Kookesh, Kapsner, Scalzi No recommendation (1): Masek Amend (1): Kohring The following fiscal note(s) apply to CSSSHB 22(TRA): 1.
