Insert "an interested person has two years from the later of the following events to bring an action in court against the museum to claim the property: (1) when the person learns that the museum has acquired title to the property; and (2) when the person learns that the person is the owner, lender, or heir of the owner or lender of property to which the museum has acquired title. (b)" Page 4, following line 9: Insert a new subsection to read: "(c) In this section, "interested person" means the owner of the property, the lender of the property, or, if the owner or lender has died, an heir of the owner or lender of the property." Senator Ward moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Objections were heard. Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 218(FIN) be held in second reading on reconsideration, with Amendment No. 1 pending, to the April 20 calendar. Without objection, it was so ordered. SB 310 Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that SENATE BILL NO. 310 An Act providing for and relating to the issuance of general obligation bonds for the purpose of paying the state cost of school, University of Alaska, and port and harbor capital projects; and providing for an effective date be placed at the bottom of todays calendar. Without objection, it was so ordered.
